Floorball - Junior Leagues in term 4
Just in case you haven't seen it yet, primary and intermediate floorball league registrations are open for term 4 currently.

We are also more than happy to assist, if you just want to send your team registration requests through for your school.
1) The primary league is taking place on Tuesday afternoons, between 4pm and 7pm, with the younger grades playing earlier.
The league dates are the following: 14 October - 9 December 2025.
Grades are the following (please note that grades are not mixed, eg. year 3/4):
year 1/2
year 3
year 4
year 5
year 6
Team registrations can also come through me if you like, I am more than happy to assist here and make your registration process easier. :-)
I would just need a team name and a team manager please (with email and telephone number) - ideally also details for your players once you have them.
A primary league team usually consists of about 5-7 players. (3 field players and 1 goalie on the court for years 3-6, 4 field players no goalie for year 1/2).
Rink Size: Mini (primary age).

Floorball sticks for field players and helmet plus knee pads for goalies will be provided.
Games:
Games are 2 x 10 mins, with a 2 minute break between halves.
The current team fee in the primary league is $210.

The draw is usually posted on Sunday evening/Monday during the day. Please ask your team managers to check here for any updates on the day - sometimes last minute draw changes are necessary and will be posted here.
The first draw will be posted on the 13 October (Monday).
Registrations will close on 7 October.
2) The intermediate league is taking place on Thursday afternoons, roughly between 4pm and 5pm (occasionally we have to schedule a few teams already at 3.30pm, depending on registration numbers).
The league dates are the following: 16 October - 4 December 2025.
Grades are either social or competitive.

Please check here for any updates/ask your team managers to check the FB page for the draw/any updates on the day. The draw is usually posted on Wednesday, so the first draw will come out on 15 October.
Registrations will close on 8 October (but we very much appreciate early entries, to save everyone any last minute hassle/stress).
3) We also have a free referee education session coming up THIS FRIDAY, 12 September (Akau Tangi Sports Centre).
This is a referee refresher session, but new referees from year 5 onwards are always welcome. :-)
Session information is the following (this is the ONLY date we will be running these; if someone wants to ref in term 4, we expect them to attend the session):
6-7pm - Referees year 5-8
7-8pm - Referees year 9-13
