Yummy Sticker Promotion 2019
The Yummy Sticker promotion has kicked off again for this year so you can start to collecting Yummy stickers and bag cut-outs from fruit NOW. The promotion is now in its 22 year and there is another $200,000 available to spend on sports gear for schools.
The promotion finishes at the end of Term 3 (Friday 27 September), so there is plenty of time to collect as many stickers & bag cut outs as possible.
Please print off sheets at home to enable you to 'stick labels straight on'.
Netball Umpiring 101 Workshop for Year 8 to Adult
Thursday 16 May - 6.30-8.30pm (upstairs) Hataitai Netball Pavilion - Cost $2
Perfect for school, club & satellite player-umpires, umpires, coaches, managers, mentors, parents and players! Focuses primarily on the 7-a-side game. Aims to help build confidence, refresh rule knowledge prior to the start of the season, provide answers to any fiddly questions or scenarios you may have experienced in the past and discuss the practical interpretation of any rule updates. Miramar & Maupuia Community Centre - 27 Chelsea Street, Miramar
Whataitai Sunday Lunch & Community Garden bee: A free community lunch on the last sunday of every month, kai served at 1pm & the next event is 26/05. For this month we are also having a community gardening bee prior to this from 11am.
Market/fair day: We are moving forward with organizing a community market, beginning around the end of July (aiming to be waste free) and if anyone would like to be involved with organizing please get in touch.
Plastic Free July: We would like to host some plastic free educational events. Any Plastic free waste warriors want to work together/host an event/teach a skill? Workshops, businesses, demonstrations etc. A koha may be available.
Springboard & Platform Diving at Kilbirnie Pool
Wellington Diving Club runs diving classes for kids aged 5 years and up (plus separate Adult training sessions). Try something new - visit our website and come along for a 30min Trial Lesson! After-school sessions available on Tues/Wed/Thurs/ Fridays and we cater for kids of any level from beginners to competitive. Casual “drop-in” sessions also on (most) Sundays.
