There is a wide range of information being sent to us but I thought I would share some key ones with this week. Last night Cardinal John held the Saturday Vigil Mass with the Gospel being on "Doubting Thomas. " So here is the link if you wish to make it your mass today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdpU9rAHCzo
Over the next few days, I will receive further information about Level 3 and the school opening. Once I have this, be assured that I will share it with you all.
Until then, stay safe and have a wonderful Sunday together with your family.

Take Time to Think about Cybersafety
We are now into week 3 of the Level 4 lockdown and we have been delighted with the way the students have responded to online learning.
John Parsons, who was scheduled to be a speaker on Cybersafety, at our Wellington Regional Primary Principals' conference at the end of the last term has shared with us instead his short format video (3 to 5 minutes) with practical advice on Cyber Safety for parents and children. I do encourage you to take the time to view these.

The MoE has asked us to share this website with our community so that you can follow the instructions to set up your child’s device for safer connectivity while they learn from home.
Remember, no technical solution is a silver bullet. You are reminded to complement this with digital citizenship toolkits provided by Netsafe.
Free internet safety filter for parents
While children are learning from home, they are away from the online safety and security services provided by Network for Learning (N4L) at school. So together with N4L and Netsafe, we have launched www.switchonsafety.co.nz - a free way to block the worst of the web for students and teachers.
Netsafe
Netsafe provides comprehensive support and information to support everyone to stay safe as they work, learn and play online. Netsafe has new and updated resources for parents, whānau and students at https://www.netsafe.org.nz/advice/staying-safe/
