The excitement has mounted as the day has finally arrived for the showing of our school production - The Green Balloon. This has been a long project with our senior students leading the way as scripts have been written, auditions held, costumes made and scenes shot. All have participated in some shape or form but I do congratulate our Year 7 & 8s for the expertise and skills that they have brought to this production. As our chosen whakatauki tells us, success is not by one but when many are involved and this production is a real testament to that.
The Oral Presentation Cup Final was held on Monday afternoon and it was an impressive effort by every single one! All won in some shape or form as it was a year of watching our tamariki all make personal gains in so many ways.
We congratulate:
Oral Presentation Cup: Chloe Blades
Second Place: Marimatina Peni
Third Equal: Dannielle Trangmar and Sophia Meech
Shown Most Improvement Cup: Jessica Ly

A reminder that as we approach the Christmas period, we are taking part in the ‘Christmas Food Parcel Appeal 2021’ for St. Vincent de Paul Society, Holy Trinity Parish. We will begin collecting your items from next Monday, November 29th and all throughout Advent. We would love to see our whānau bringing along some items to add to our hamper which we will leave at the school gates each morning.
Advent Prayer
Father,
Just as You sent John the Baptist to prepare the way for Jesus, help me to clear the path in my heart, too.
Show me the distractions in my life that block me from all-out worship of You this Advent.
Lord, I await Your coming! As I celebrate the first Advent––the first coming––I look toward the day where I will see You face to face.
I imagine what it will be like.
Give me a heart, Lord, that looks for Your coming on a daily basis.
Help me to live my life where I'm constantly seeking Your presence.
My offering to You today is my righteous life for I know I am only clean because of Jesus.
Show me today how I need to be refined, purified, forgiven.
Give me the strength to ask for forgiveness and to then change my ways.
Amen
Reflection
How can I clear a path in my heart which allows me to seek God’s presence each day?
